Expressing our emotional power
At GCB Bilingue Internacional, we understand art as a fundamental part of the integral development of our students.
One of the highest manifestations of human activity is art. Through art, human beings can interpret reality or create imaginaries using different types of resources: dance, drama, music, painting, sculpture, and literature. It has been scientifically proven that the study of the fine arts from an early age promotes in the human being a sensitivity that leads them to the development of solid ethics in their adult life.
Music increases concentration and perception; drawing develops creativity and sensitivity; drama develops collaborative work and the collective construction of new dreams and new interpretations of reality; dance reaffirms the appreciation of identity and cultural richness.
Discovering hidden skills
Every year, students of all the three sections of GCB: Preschool, Primary and Secondary, have a free space to present to the whole community the work done in the classes of music, dance and drama. That space, which we have called the Talent Show, is full of magic, colour and beauty. It is where our students show all their creativity and artistic talent.
